Moses was God’s Middleman

Moses was God’s Middleman

In Exodus, Moses was God’s middleman. God would speak to Moses, then Moses would take the message to the people. The people would in turn talk to Moses and Moses would take their message to God.

The Bible calls these people, Prophets. They were necessary because approaching a holy God could result in disaster (for the one approaching).

Jesus came to remove the barrier between God and humanity. He was the Great Prophet, that brought us (God and us) together so there can be communication.

The Bible is God’s direct way of communicating to humanity and He has given those who believe in Jesus, His Holy Spirit to help us understand the Bible and increase our communication.

“So Moses came and called the elders of the people, and set before them all these words which the Lord had commanded him. Then all the people answered together and said, “All that the Lord has spoken we will do!” And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.”
