Pray, Pray Again, Pray Some More

Pray, Pray Again, Pray Some More

Kids are persistent. It seems that whenever they get this idea that they want something; they won’t stop asking until they get it. You tell them, ‘no’ and they find another way to ask. You say, ‘later’ and they are back in a few minutes wondering if it’s now ‘later’.

As adults, we sometimes forget how to be persistent—as little children. Worries, pains, cares and losses of many kinds can make us feel like we are always asking God for something—that somehow, we’ve used up all of our prayers and God just wants us to stop asking.

Paul, in Ephesians 6:18-20 tells us to pray. Pray in the will and understanding of the Spirit. Pray will all kinds of prayers, bringing them all to God because He loves to hear your voice and desires to answer each and every prayer.

Paul was so confident that God heard and answered prayer that he put in a little request of his own in v.19, “Pray also for me…”

Whether you’re going through troubles or know someone who is, or enjoying a blessed life—God wants you to pray, pray again and pray some more.

Ephesians 6:18-20
