Blessed is This Kind of Person

Psalm 1 opens up with a contrast. Blessed is the person who is…but. The first example of a type of person is someone who does three things that lead their lives into spiritual ruin.

👎 They listen to the advice of wicked or ungodly people
👎 They put themselves in places that God doesn’t want them to be at
👎 They join in with mockers

They APPEAR to be right before God, but their daily lives show different.

The contrasting type of person is someone who does these three things that lead their lives into spiritual growth.

👍 They delight in God’s Word
👍 They think about God’s Word, day and night

They ARE right before God, and their daily lives show it.

What kind of person are you going to be?
